Finally!-
MultiRotor: New Multi-rotor vehicle type changes throttle response to allow for faster throttle response. Throttle processing has been completely rewritten to prevent aliasing of the throttle while limiting
Sounds good so far, though I'm a little concerned about this:
- All: ESC now supports, and USES, high frequency receiver pulses (100+ hz). In previous versions of firmware, receiver input was processed at 50hz.
But let's see how it works out, I loaded the FW onto 4 Phoenix 10's, I'm pretty tied up at the moment, so some of you guys will most likely beat me to it to actually try it out.
The multirotor specific FW doesn't leave you with as many configurable parameters as before, what's left is:
- Multirotor with fixed endpoints, obviously (No endpoint calibration?)
- Cutoff voltage (Also known as brick mode, Why??)
- Current limiting
- Motor start power
- Motor timing
- Direction
- PWM Rate (8,12,16 or 24kHz)
- Power-on beep
This could be good.
