i just picked up my new Phantom 2 vision + . took it out over the week end and had a great time. it's the 1st RC flyer I've owned.

Noob question of the day - after changing batteries do you need to redo the GPS calibration "dance" ?

No, you don't need to do that. You really only need to recalibrate after you have made a change to the Phantom (e.g. added an FPV Tx) or if you are flying a significant distance from the last place you did a calibration (like, in the next state).
