Calibrating Hobbywing 40A ESC using 16 Channel NAZA SBUS

Hello and HELP!

I just finished building my Tarot X8 and need to calibrate my Hobbywing 40A ESC's. I know how to calibrate an ESC using an SBUS 8 Channel using Channel 3 but in a 16-channel configuration, there is to channel 3 as the channel from 9-16 are not throttle. I tried to assign channel 10 to be throttle but I could not calibrate the ESC's (one at a time). Any suggestions. I can re-bind in 8-channel but was hoping some would know how to calibrate in SBUS 16-channel mode. Many thanks!

In my SBUS configuration, channels 1-4 are for throttle, elevator, aileron and rudder, regardless of the number of channels your receiver or transmitter has. I have the Taranis so setting that up via OpenTx is really easy, just remember channels 1-4 are used for those primary functions. I run mine in 16 channel configuration. I don't use the Naza to calibrate either. I plug each esc into the throttle channel of the receiver. However, I did that prior to assembly. Hope this helps.
