Brushless Gimbal Complete - Vendor Links

"EVO brushless set comes without brushless motors and gimbal controller."

Basically a Cinestar gimbal clone that you can install the equipment to make it into a brushless gimbal. I'd pass on this one and get a complete setup that is known to work.

I'm very interested in this Twodee Evo. It looks like about $600 to get it up and running with motors and controller. And you can put any camera on it? That's my only problem with the GotHeli version is camera limitations.

Anybody with any experience with it? I have also checked over on the Twodee forum and it looks like this thing is fairly new.

He originally released it as a servo based gimbal then saw the future. I had his GO gimbal and wasn't really impressed.

Nic, dont quote me but pretty sure the BEVRC Mastor is not an Alex. Believe its their own (copied from Alex to be sure) but might also be a Martinez.

Was also looking at the Ecopter simply because theyre supposed to be working on a TBS Discovery mount.

Yeah, think you are correct. I'll wait for Fabiens gimbal.

Another to the list is the "Martinez" board and IMU from fpv-community.de (Germany). "hdworld" is listing them on the 'for sale' list here on MRF.
The 'V3' is getting positive murmours... I just might have taken a gamble and ordered one with the 4006-120 motors.
I downloaded the GUI tonight and there is enough english for me to have fun. As for the instructions in .pdf (passworded)... I'm not too good with German and this could be some fun!

Negotiating now for the whole gimbal. That'll give me one of each, Alexmos and Martinez to compare the two. Hero 3 black in each, side by side.

Seems like even the 4008/150 motors with the Alex type boards have an 800-900 gram camera optimum and about a 1200g limit - So Nex5/GP3 and down.
Now its just to finding the one that has the right combo of mount, construction quality and weight.
