Bigger camera mount than Copterworks Gimbal?

Hello guys,

The biggest camera mount for our RC toys that I know is Copterworks gimbal: http://copterworks.com/products/three-axis-camera-mount

Have you ever seen any bigger camera mount system? When it's getting bigger, we get close to a system like CineFlex or Gyron. We have Radian and Picloc, so I don't worry about stabilization.

The reason I ask is, I want to use our RC camera gimbals on a camera crane. I'll put Picloc or Radian stabilization over it. I have CineStar and AV200 gimbals but searching for something bigger in case some customers ask much bigger cameras like Red One or maybe film cameras which weight more than 12 lbs easily.

Photohigher Hero 3000 is also quite a big boy but it's not out yet. Also not sure if its capable of handling 12-16 lbs payload.

Why not just get a proper gimbal for only crane work? Heck, even the kessler revo is better than any of the aerial gimbals available for multi's for studio use. We've easily carried 15lbs of camera on one of those, may not be the best but it's cheap and can be programmed. Unless you're moving the crane in the back of a pickup truck, I don't see why you need gryro.

Depending on what you need take a look at Servocity, they have beefy stuff, but not sure how it would work with Radian and Picloc. http://www.servocity.com/html/pan_tilt_roll___accessories.html

Thanks for reminding the servocity chopper, they have quite neat products.

I want stabilization in case I put on a cable, or over a truck or even a helicopter. Kessler's head is quite good; thanks for pointing that out.
