Best place for mounting ESC

Hi all,

I am building a multirotor and i was wondering where is the best place for ESC's.
Is is under the motor? or is it on the center plate of the multi rotor?
I am also planning to step in to the FPV world once the MR is working. Will the ESC generate interference?

You can mount them anywhere safe. I see a lot of them mounted on the arms between the main frame and the motor mount. Depending on how hot they run and how hard you push them, a location in the prop wash could be a good idea. I have mine mounted vertically with the wires coming out of the ends. They are flush with the outside of the frame with the heat sinks facing outward.
