I know that B&H has been selling the DJI Phantom for a while now but this is when you know things are getting out of control - Back to School Specials - Featured products. Scroll down about a 1/4 of the page and you find the Phantom, just what every retuning student needs. Great for spying on the co-ed in the dorm next door or crash into little Jimmy on the playground, after all any 8 year old can fly it.

I know the Genie is out of the bottle but this kind of promotion can only lead to bad things I believe.

Hahahaha. That is hilarious or really scary, depending on how you look at it JW. Probably you will have to walk down the street dodging Phantoms sometime in the near future. I have a good friend that bought a Phantom after I acquired my Hex but he is one of the people who does it right. Hopefully people buying the lower cost multi copters don't cause a backlash for the people more involved.
