Any ideas why a Spektrum DX8 won't work with my Zenmuse Gimbal?

I've been temporarily using a Graupner MX-20 Hott transmitter for a cameraman to control the Zenmus and it works brilliantly. I want to put the MX-20 back to work flying since its a bit of overkill just to control the Zenmuse. I've got a Spektrum DX8 with receiver that have worked well for me so I reprogrammed it and hooked it up to the Zenmuse controller. When I open the Zenmuse assistant I see numeric values at the various ports so I know it is seeing the receiver. However, the controls don't operate the sliders and the numbers just sit there bouncing a bit with no response.

Just to test the Spektrum, I moved the receiver over to the WKM IMU and it operates just fine. Moving it back to the Zenmuse - nada. ... SO, I rehooked the Graupner up and it operates flawlessly. What could I be missing in this equation that is stopping the Spektrum from working with the Zenmuse controller board? Any ideas?

Strage one i have the zenmuse hooked up to a spectrum receiver and I have a DX7s to control it. I had awkwardness once were thing should have been working but the gimbal didn't respond to the radio rebooted without changing anything and it worked.

Try it again create a complete new model reboot the zenmuse i couple times it must work !

Thanks Boris. That's encouraging. At first I wondered if I had put a servo cable in upside down but since it showed the readouts I knew that wasn't the case. Since you're using DX7s I know it has to work with a DX8. I'll do just what you suggest and give it another shot. THANKS!

Which RX are you using? Could it possibly be one that needs a satellite RX and you don't have one hooked up?
