Animal Planet using MR's like crazy

Last night the wife and I watched a new show on Animal Planet called "Treehouse Masters." It's pretty cool, but it struck me as odd how much of the show is shot via multi rotor. It's quite a bit. How is it that we are not allowed to do this commercially, yet you can't turn on the TV these days without seeing some MR footage some where.

This is one of the episodes we watched. Tons of MR footage, even in the intro.

the film industry isn't giving much care about the closure, in fact there throwing alot of money at forcing the rulings sooner than later.

They use 6-8 different multirotor shots. I'm just sayin' - if you want to do well in the sUAS industry, the United States is not the place to do it right now.
