The Aeroxcraft X50 Aluminum Arms are direct replacements for the stock plastic DJI F450/F550 arms. The Aeroxcraft X55 Extended Aluminium Arms allow you to fit larger propellers to your DJI F450/F550. Made from aircraft grade 6082-T6 Aluminium, the X50 and X55 arms are lighter, tougher, stiffer and more durable than stock plastic arms. The lightness and stiffness combine to make your multirotor more responsive. What's more, the X50 and X55 arms act as heatsinks to cool down your motors and ESC, dramatically reducing the heat stress and making your F450/F550 safer to operate. They are tough too. The X50 and X55 arms are safety rated at 9 kilograms, much more than you will ever need. The X50 and X55 arms are the same height as the stock arms at 37mm.

Thermal Properties

These 2 photos show how using aluminium arms can dramatically reduce the running temperatures of your motors. The two identical motors and props have been left running at the same speed for around 10 miniutes. The temperatures of the motors are taken using a Fluke IR camera. The motor on the aluminium arm is 21 deg centigrade cooler than the motor on the stock plastic arm.
