Hey guys, Some may have remebered my post a while back "Will 13" props fit on 410mm booms". Well, they deffinently do not
Now Droidworx has changed their AD8 Heavylift octo's to come with 430mm booms instead of the 410's in order to use 13" props. So all V3 AD8 heavylifts from here on out will come with 430mm booms.
These longer 430mm booms leave about 1cm between between the tips of each propellor. DO you think that is to close? Should I go with the 465's booms to increasse that distance between props? I was not sure if there are problems associated with props being to close together or if they will cause problems when that close.
I am building a new AD8 for filming, and I am about to order a new set of booms to fit the 13" props. Can you help me decide to get the 430's or the 465's, and let me know why one or the other would be better.
Thanks for your input.
Patrick
