Hello All, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to choose the best propellers for motors. Is there a formula I should know where I would just need to plug in some numbers or is it just from experience?

What I am doing is getting a 4S battery and new motors. First I will probably just switch out the motors to see if that works. I should be getting my new motors sometime next week. I will update this thread when I get them and am up and flying. =) You all have been great with the help.

3S-4S is what is on the website.

I bought my motors from HobbyKing. I thought at the time they would work, but I failed to realize that I need a 4S instead of a 3S battery. I just bought new ones that are 1240KV, I think that will do the trick and they will run on 3S batteries from everything that I checked and from the specs.

Yeah, I think I will just go and order new ones, I should get them in a few days.

I do have another 3S battery, but it is not the same mah. Does that matter? Checking on a 4S battery now.

It is a 3S, you suggest using a 4S? Could you explain why? Sorry, I am really new and don't know much about quads and just slowly learning the intricacy behind it.

I agree. I hope getting the ESC program card will help with this and maybe it is something that I have overlooked. Worst case scenario I buy new motors and ESC if I must.
