How far from the center of gravity can a NAZA M v2 be safely positioned?

I swapped my Naza out of an F450 and put it into a TBS Discovery but then put it back again. I found that the CoG on the Disco made it toilet-bowl like a ***** and it required a fair bit more setting up and mucking about to make it fly correctly. I know some people love them but my own...

    Naza v2 firmware 4.04

Yup, I have the same issue. I get Error 80 when I connect to the assistant software and continuous flashing red light. I go back to 4.02 and it works fine. I believe that DJI are aware and are working on a solution.

Waypoint with wookong-----Does it need internet to work????

You'll need it to update google earth if you want detailed maps, but I don't think it's essential. Personally I run the ground station software on my MS Surface Pro and tether it to my mobile phone with 3G/4G. Works great in the middle of nowhere, so long as I have coverage.

    DJI 2212 motor (F450) problem.

I believe that there is a set-screw at the top of the outer can (just under where the prop sits) and a c clip at the bottom. Take out the set screw and put a light smear of threadlock on it and tighten it back up.

What's the besr battery charger for a F450?

That's an awesome bit of kit. I'm not into charging at such high rates but it's seriously nice. I've got some models which use 10S 6000mah packs which would make good use of a charger like that. Fortunately I've got a few sets of packs for a whole days flying and so I'm never in a hurry to...

What's the besr battery charger for a F450?

I know you say it's out of your budget, but in all honesty it really is something that you shouldn't scrimp on for so many reasons, the main one being safety. Something like the one in the link is really what I would recommend too, because as has already been mentioned, you really want to just...

    How could this happen HOW?????

Sorry dude, but from my own direct experience I know that is just not true. I've been flying for getting close to 14 years and I started out with Futaba FF6 and then FF9 on 35Mhz. They were incredibly unreliable and I lost more than a couple of models to unexplained glitches and lockouts. When I...

    How could this happen HOW?????

I don't fly my multirotors with Spektrum gear. All my high-end models - jets, helis and multirotors - all use JR gear as I simply don't trust Spektrum. I purely use Spektrum for foamies, etc. I've experienced too many lock-outs and near misses with Spektrum crap. I currently fly JR but I'm...

Fast ascent causes quad to bank and pitch. Need help.

Hmmm, not all that surprising really if you think about it. If it's got a fairly high AUW your motors will need more static thrust to compensate for the addtional weight and the wattage that your rig will need to be able to consume is going to ramp up. The static thrust that you'll need to lift...

DJI F550 - Monitor stopped picking up signal from the Heli

What camera are you using? How does it connect to your video tranmistter? Are you able to test the output from the camera by directly plugging it into a monitor or some other recording source.? Do you have an OSD in between the camera and the transmitter? Can you isolate the OSD and remove...

Problem in setting Naza consistently with ESC

Double check the basic stuff, in particular that you've got the correct motors in the right positions and that the props are on the right way around on the correct motors.

    DJI A2 problem

Try removing your iOSD and bluetooth adapter from the system before setting it up. I had a similar problem with my Wookong where it wouldn't start up and would with the additional items connected. Also had to connect the USB straight into the Wookong and not the Bluetooth. I'm pretty sure that...

A little setup help here with Naza V2

Hmmm, I would go back a couple of steps in your setup as the root cause of your toilet bowl effect and you 'twitchy' hover whilst in ground effect could be the same thing. I would double check that the centre of your Naza is exactly on the C of G of your F550 complete with flight battery...

DJI Naza BTU - where's the App?

Getting apps signed for Google Play is not hard and plenty of legitimately signed apps in Google Play ARE spyware and malware. It seems that some folk are pretty adept at disguising the code in their submissions. The track record suggests that Google aren't good at spotting this stuff whereas...

A little setup help here with Naza V2

The DJI CSC procedure involves putting your left and right stick into the lower corners - either corner on both sticks simultaneously is fine, take your pick. As soon as they spin up they will idle for a few seconds and then shut down again unless you start to increase throttle, etc. So from...

    Rc wireless audio broadcasting

I can't think which laws this might directly break (obviously will differ from country to country) but looking at this logically, if you want to emit your voice from your multirotor then that would imply that you're planning on flying close enough to someone for them to hear it, which might also...

DJI Naza BTU - where's the App?

If thats how you feel about it then thats up to you. Just accepting it and putting it down to being a fact of life is completely your call, but personally I KNOW how to protect myself, my equipment, and by association those around me. For comparison, driving a car responsibly is not something...

DJI Naza BTU - where's the App?

Where's your source for this? Apple claim (note I said 'claim') that the fingerprint data is stored on the phone and not in their cloud and state that the area of storage on their device is secure and not generally accessible via the OS and therefore any other app or subsystem - of course, we...

Brushless Gimbals and the 550 what do you recommend.

Well yes, I can understand why you're looking around because no doubt gimbals are generally expensive, but then I also think the reason you're here is because you're after the benefit of someone elses experience. I've played a few servo based units and also two different Arduino based brushless...
