    Copter Control Case

Not sure if I should post this here, but I am trying to get a feel for the amount of interest I might have on this item. <tbody> I will be machining a few of these if there is any interest. They are made from durable black ABS, are very strong, and use the standard Copter Control hole spacing...

    FPV and Radio Gear

There are alot of factors to consider when doing FPV. The first thing you want to remember, is don't go overboard and spend more than you want to lose. Atmospheric conditions change, and radio wave propagation changes along with it. Signal quality changes day to day. Start off small, and extend...

ESC initialazation problem in cold temperatures

Just a thought... Some gyros have some problems initializing in an abrupt temperature change (For instance, going from inside to outside). Maybe on the initialization process the signal to the esc's is a little off? Maybe give it 5-10 minutes for the components to stablize to ambient temp?

What is the difference between non-electric and electric propeller?

I think efficiency is also a factor. From the tests I have run, the current draw is higher with a non-electric prop. Chris

    Gunters new octocopter build

Gunter, The mounting plates would be a piece of cake, well the bottom one would be tricky, unless you know how to form thermoplastic. If you want, send me a drawing of the parts, and I will see if I can do the Clamps as well. I'll PM you my email addy.

    New Multi Design

Juz, I haven't actually weighed it. I will try and get a weight of the airframe tomorrow. My main goal was to make a quad that will protect the controller and electronics in a crash situation. I have since removed the saw blades... I saw them as a potential problem with wires getting cut. The...
