I had the same problem. If you are using a Naza lite it requires rapid switching between GPS and MANUAL positions to initiate compass calibration.

Rapid orange flashes means the Naza does not see valid signals from the RC receiver.

I would be very interested to see what you experience in the future. The iOSD is a very valuable method of checking.

@chipwich NO, that is not correct. When you turn off your transmitter the assistant should show the FAILSAFE zone lighted up. You didn't list your RC system but the failsafe setup for your receiver needs attention.
