M Lite no calibration and rotating

I had the same problem. If you are using a Naza lite it requires rapid switching between GPS and MANUAL positions to initiate compass calibration.

Naza Lite not flashing when plugged into USB

Rapid orange flashes means the Naza does not see valid signals from the RC receiver.

Rapid Green flashes may not indicate a GPS Fix

I would be very interested to see what you experience in the future. The iOSD is a very valuable method of checking.

Rapid Green flashes may not indicate a GPS Fix

Home lock setting Wow, this is very good information I have not seen before - 9.8 KM! I just checked the manual again and GPS satellite acquisition is indicated ONLY by the red flashes. No red flashes > 6 satellites, 1 red flash = 6 satellites, 2 red = 5 satellites, 3 red < 5 satellites. Home...

    naza failsafe )..any help

Naza failsafe is easy The frustration is totally the fault of the TX and RX. Below are the steps required to set up failsafe using Futaba TX with Frsky module and Frsky receiver: 1. Turn on TX and power up RX/Naza 2. Connect computer to Naza USB and start Assistant; activate TX MONITOR...

Caught on camera, multirotor crashes into crowd at Great Bull Run

I am a member of AMA. Not aware of any specific references to Multi rotors. However AMA has a detailed safety code on their web site and I suspect most multi rotor enthusiasts would be appalled. It emphasizes, "do not fly any aircraft over people," and encourages flying at an AMA sanctioned...

    naza failsafe )..any help

@chipwich Wow, failsafe setup on Spektrum DX7s / AR8000 is very complex. :upset: But is is apparently possible. Here is a link: http://www.xflysystems.com/blogs/news/7000392-setting-up-your-spektrum-dx7s-ar8000-failsafe-for-dji-naza Note that it is very important to set throttle failsafe...

    naza failsafe )..any help

@chipwich NO, that is not correct. When you turn off your transmitter the assistant should show the FAILSAFE zone lighted up. You didn't list your RC system but the failsafe setup for your receiver needs attention.

    Prop upgrades for DJI motors

DJI Props I also agree that the new DJI 1038 props are good quality - very tough. But they are very flexible and there is some flapping going on that causes vibration. I would like to try a set of carbon fiber props to see if they reduce the vibration. Any recommendations for reliable...

    HWC carbon fiber props?

I'm looking for some good carbon fiber props for my stock F450. Suggestions? Has anyone used the Century Heli HWC carbon fiber props? I can't find much info on them. They are available in 8" and 9" sizes. Have been getting good results with DJI 1038 props but they are very flexible. I...

Turnigy 9xr setup for Naza w/GPS?

Wow, I was not aware of that option on the setup menu. Is that the Naza setup menu you are referring to? Maybe I haven't seen it because I'm using a Naza Lite. I just assumed I was lucky because the Naza channel assignments matched the Futaba transmitter I'm using. Yes the 9XR combined with...

Turnigy 9xr setup for Naza w/GPS?

I don't own a 9XR but considering buying one because of its flexibility. As I understand, the 9XR channel assignments are configured like JR/Spektrum, that is 1 throttle, 2 Aileron, 3 Elevator, 4 Rudder. The Naza is configured for Futaba channel assignments, that is 1 Aileron, 2 Elevator, 3...

    Product review - DJI Phantom

Hmmmm, in the close-up photo of installing a prop the arm is marked counter clockwise, can't see the marking on the prop but looking at the airfoil of the prop it looks like it is a clockwise prop!
