you need to disable driver signing : http://laslow.net/2012/03/14/disable-driver-signature-enforcement-in-windows-8/ and it should work

Didn't have to much time to tinker with it so was connected straight to my wookong M. I'm getting the bec on 6v installed with a separate controller and will see how it looks. Camera is indeed a gopro 2. I had the first gimbal as well and I can say there's no comparison. Really well made...
