Sorry, I meant on your video that you posted with your rig with the 60amp Maytech - was that also a comm error?

At the time that I was building this rig initially, many were using SimonK but things move fast and sometimes you're penalized for being an early adopter :) It wasn't until after we had our issues that folks were reporting similar issues - some reporting much greater losses with full camera...

Thanks Steve. We have considered this route but wanted more headroom than what the Hercules III offers (30amp cont / 60amp burst from what I recall). Have heard nothing but great reviews and have almost pulled the trigger a couple of times.

Did the ESC fry or error out?

Ha! Nice, that was not in the description, nor were those ESCs to market yet when we spec'd everything out. No doubt we are one of many who found out the hard way ;)

For your needs I'd keep it simple, s1000 and gh4.

Yep. Since 2-piece props generate inconsistent vibes, your only choice IMO is to balance with props off. I then tried dynamic balancing the props but due to inconsistent readings, realized it was a fools game :) I then resorted to making sure the props were within .01 gram of each other...

Yep, strips of electrical tape and measured vibes with iPhone app iVibroMeter. Have tried many different vibe apps and found this to be the most helpful.

The props are very good for 2 piece but still vibrate more than well balanced 1 piece props. We like the convenience of folding so we're keeping them for now. I did spend a good few hours balancing the motors however which seemed to help a bit.

Price dropped to $1700. Airframe has only 8hrs on her.
