4k is a very low frame rate, so no real use at all. 2.7k has some compromises, and you will eat ALL your memory card very quickly, but there is the possibility of cropping in post and still getting an HD picture out of the image.

The Quad is set up for a go-pro out of the box, and if a fixed, roll stablised go-pro suits then it could be a useful platform.
