I've managed to squeeze about 40mph out of my Famous Hobby gimbal (with Phobotic card) chasing cars, with the lens pointed out the side. I was actually quite shocked. (Canon 5d with a small / light 24mm on it.) I do agree with you on all counts though. Good post!

I would stay away from the 680 frame as it uses smaller diameter booms which are too flexible. I have the Tarot 810 frame which is sturdy and rugged.

I don't know, for $12,000.00 USD (for the pro bundle) I can build TWO very pro carbon hexas with gimbals and Sony a6300's DIY ain't dead yet!

And in thinner air you're going to have WAY less lift. It won't carry as much, fly sluggish, and reduced flight time. ;)

Yes, I think the look is fine myself. One thing that I think could help build traffic is to condense the forums a little so that the limited traffic isn't so spread out. For instance there's no real need to have a separate forum for Flight Controllers etc. All the "electronics" related topics...

I think the powers that be saw an inevitable economic crash coming in the West and decided to lift trade tariffs knowing full well that we would find ourselves in this situation. Not only have all the jobs gone overseas, but we are losing the skills at the basic level... We'd be hard pressed to...
