    Mikrokopter GPS Question

Absolute bad practice - no matter what FC you are using. The reason is easy: The lower your Kopter is in the air, the less it sees the Sat's which are near the Horizon, and they have most Influrence on the lat/long Value. This may result in Position jumps that may lead to unexpected Position...

    Mikrokopter controlling a sony a5000?

If it's still not answered, here's a Thread from the german Mikrokopter Forum. It's mostly in english. Maybe it helps: http://forum.mikrokopter.de/topic-47609.html

    Mikrokopter Update MK 2.5

Do you have the external Compass module installed? On Copters from a certain Powerlevel you need to move the Compass away from the electronics. This solved the toilet bowl effect for me that i suffered the more powerusage/weight i had. The most common reason for the toiletbowl effect is...

    Guys PLEASE, don't do it!

hy, This is the ownside of RTF Multirotor Products. Guys step into a Hobby market, see the Phantom and think "cool, now i'm a uberdronepilot". No warning on the Box, no safety considerations, no information about national regulations. This has the potential to ruin our hobby.

Flight Controllers; The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

I have to disaggree with the Statement that MK comes with no Support. It's probably the only commercial System where the Dev's actively answer the forums. Also - if you have a problem you can even send in your Copter and they will look for it. You won't get that from DJI. Another big + is the...

You can still fly without GPS and Compass.

Phantom 2 Vision + Near Tall Buildings

Don't rely on GPS anywhere near tall buildings. Won't work. Don't ever rely on GPS, better make a free flight. GPS won't care about 2.4ghz, but RC maybe a Problem.

Wookong M GPS Mode - Fair Warning

@Ed: I agree with you that in most cases the Problem is on the - often inexperienced - RC-Operator. This is the Downside of the RTF Hobby Products. I have seen several Phantom Pilots, that can't fly w/o compass/GPS. Nevertheless there are also well documented FA Reports from long experienced...

Mikrokopter My Hexa XL Slowly Climbs at Mid Stick

Hy there, @Bullseye: In general: To keep the Altitude Correctly I strongly recommend the Usage of the Altitude Hold Function, the best Case would be to use it in Conjunction with the Acc-Upgrade which is available for FC2.0+. If you use the Vario, 127 sould always keep the Altitude, no matter...

    Mikrokopter Mk max input voltage

Hy Old Man, I think it depends on the FC Version / the used Caps. IIRC by default it's around 16V, which is sufficient for 4S.. if you want more you have to exchange some parts.

Mikrokopter EPI_OSD problem.. NAVICTRL MODE 20130824-1115

Hi andrey, altough i haven't used my EPI Osd for some time now I would assume, that you need to update the EPI to 20140415-2130 C-OSD Firmware... probably the NC Debug structure has changed multiple times since your 2013 Firmware.. catch it here: http://www.mylifesucks.de/oss/c-osd/ mephisto

Wookong M GPS Mode - Fair Warning

Is the DJI Software open? For expensive Rigs running with DJI Software I think it's crucial, that the Sources of the Flightcontroll and Navigation are audited by a wide spectrum of people. There is no other option to lift the Code quality.

Mikrokopter Mikrokopter, New Firmware 2.06, 9 April, 2014

I forgot: If you have a 2.0 or 2.1 NC you can use the tiny external Compass Module which is the best solution imho..

Mikrokopter Mikrokopter, New Firmware 2.06, 9 April, 2014

    1. Moving he Complete Navi is only required if you have the latest PCB Version without MK3Mag but internal Compass. Moving the MK3Mag only, if applicable, is enough. 2. It fixes all kinds of GPS Issues that come up, the heavier your MK get's. if you suffer from to much Magnetic Field Deviation...
