Your color issue is likely because the "d" format is to capture maximum dynamic range. Maximum information assuming color grading is to follow. Like the footage from a BMPCC it will appear flat prior to grading. The good news is that the color is there already it just needs to be graded...

Kloner under the "hdmi rec output" menu, do you have "4k down convert" set to off? If so it will be trying to send 4k to your hdmi converter. If you set it to "on" it should be still recording 4k internally and outputting 1080p to the monitor

Not to argue but 4096x2160 is 4k, which has a cinematic aspect ratio. Uhd denotes 3840x2160, which is a 16x9 aspect ratio. Same vertical resolution with less width. Uhd as a name is used because 16x9 can't ever be 4k, because of the aspect ratio. That's how I understand it all anyway...

So uhd @30p internal out puts to 1080p right? Just not 4k @24?
