Has anyone come up with a configuration for a DX8 and AR8000 that works? Nothing I have tried will permit me to just hold in position. This morning the silly thing just dropped from the sky and I broke my landing gear. Lucky I have a roll of Duct Tape near by :)

Thanks for the reply. I was starting to wonder if I had something connected wrong since I am not able to get either the motors or servos on the gimble to move. As soon as I connect the battery my gimble pivots straight down and twitches on either axis.

It is a S500 landing gear camera gimbal mount combo. 2 axis tilt, no pan. I just leave the pivot lose so it floats when the quad shifts position. Seems to work well, but adding the power servos would be a bonus.

Thanks for the ideas. Never thought of going that route. I guess I failed to see the bigger picture, and focused on what was directly in front of me. Adding to the frame would increase the surface area greatly, and would also ensure proper balance could be maintained. Much appreciated. :)
