Thanks! Jes1111, mind if I add those tips to the wiki ? Or even better, would you mind adding those tips to the wiki ? ;-)

Frame Suggestions for OP CC & FPV

The OpenPilot wiki also contains tons of reference airframes: http://wiki.openpilot.org/display/Doc/CopterControl+Airframes and http://wiki.openpilot.org/display/Doc/OpenPilot+Airframes

Frame Suggestions for OP CC & FPV

You can try my microHEX, it's very small and robust. Video: http://vimeo.com/24086628 Of course, replace the gopro by a small CCD, or hook a small TX to the gopro. Should work very well. You can get the frame kit on my webshop (www.openpilot.eu)

Tau Labs The famous Warthox tests CopterControl

Yes, it's quite nice. Though you can, it does not mean you should ;-) We have assumed a basic level of survival instinct for pilots in our configuration controls and what they let you do: if you attempt to reconfigure your motor layout or RC channel input configuration in flight, you should...

Tau Labs The famous Warthox tests CopterControl

One thing you have to know, is that adjusting your stabilization settings is extremely easy on CopterControl through the ground control station. If you have a telemetry modem (pair of XBees until we release the PipX modem, for example), you can even do it in real time while flying ;) Ideally...

    What countries are represented here?

You can add Paris for me. Er, I mean, France.

    Tau Labs CopterControl build

Only ever used mine with cheap ESCs, no issue. We've paid a lot of attention to making it as tolerant as possible, within reasonable limits of course. The board itself is not very demanding power-wise.

Tau Labs OpenPilot custom mixer table

Range is -127/+127 - the table editor will constrain you within that range unless I made a mistake ;)

Tau Labs So where are the frames ?

We have started documenting quite a lot or airframe builds for OpenPilot: http://wiki.openpilot.org/display/CCDoc/CopterControl+Airframes Feel free to head over there and have a look! We are hard at work on the wiki documentation, and we're always looking for feedback from users, now that...

    Hi everyone

Would be great, yes! Of course I am totally unbiased saying this. ;)

    Hi everyone

Anything from fixed wing to helicopter to octo, really, it is all configurable from the GCS, though the CopterControl board only has six PWM outputs, meaning a HEX max. If you want to go the I2C route, we're designing a small I2C add-on to connect on the flexiport of the board and you will be...

    Hi everyone

Hi all, Very nice to have a section for introducing new members! What can I say? Though by no means a multirotor expert, I have been spending most of my free time over the last year or so working on the OpenPilot project - in particular, on the ground control station. openpilot.org...
