    BNUC-s flight test

I've just been reading through the Euro USC candidate guide...and price list! As I build my own quadcopters and use two, with different cameras, it seems as though I would also be expected to pay an additional £1900, as it needs an 'assurance of airworthiness'.....is that for each?!....£700 +...

    BNUC-s flight test

Hi Jimmy, yes I know that the BMFA do not want to get involved with commercial operations, but as I said, I wish they could. Model fliers have been taking cameras aloft for many years, before the increasing regulations make a 'fly away' or prang a potential route to prosecution. From what I...

First UK conviction for illegal use of an unmanned aircraft by the CAA.

And one to follow in Australia too....... http://www.breitbart.com/InstaBlog/2014/04/06/Drone-Smashes-Into-Triathlete-During-Race-Causing-Head-Injury I read elsewhere that some 'professional operators' rejoice in the CAA action against a UK model aircraft flier, it could happen to anyone of...

First UK conviction for illegal use of an unmanned aircraft by the CAA.

That information was superceded last year, it is NOT necessary for the buddy box system, but the observer is still required, the pilot in charge, is the pilot that is controlling the aircraft (below 2.5 Kg for rotorcraft) ...

    Axi motors 'pulsing'

To answer my own question.....it's the ESC's...I've discovered that even ESC's that look identical externally, are different internally....some match the Axi motors.....some don't....probably depends upon which MOSFETS etc, were to hand at the time of manufacture........

    Axi motors 'pulsing'

Building up heavy lift Quadcopter.....I have some Axi 2814/22 motors, running on 4 cell 5000mAH Lipoly with Hobbywing 40Amp speed controllers directly wired (no connectors). Just running one motor direct to the receiver for rotation direction and ESC tests......I have selected Medium timing on...

    Hello from North Norfolk!

Hi chaps, just joined up here and posted a first attempt at filming over on the videos pages. I don't know if there are any other fliers in the vicinity? I fly all types of planes etc but now getting serious about quadcopters.....and especially building stuff. Currently flying a DJI 450 with...

If not now....When? Hi chaps, my first visit to the MultiRotor Forum.... looks a bit more useful than the RCGroups threads that I've been following! Anyway, my first attempt at quadcopterfilming....need to get some faster gimbal servos....and build a bigger quad to carry the gear. john
