OK, guys, I HAVE to get this shipping done. I can't reply any more, time is tight and you know how people want things instantly, it's stressful. Try to relax brothers, we are in this for fun remember.

    Tau Labs CC3D release!

I can assure you bart there was no digs in my messages that were intended, sorry you are reading it that way. I told the truth there, I do not want butt kissing, everything was factual and I addressed the concerns people had, seems it would be better if I do not try. However we have been in...

    Tau Labs CC3D release!

Chris, with all due respect, it is not a business and never was aimed to be. If it was a business, I agree it would be run much differently, however we do not want it to be a business but a hobby. There are a few reasons why it is operated as it is, some are well known others are personal and...

    Tau Labs CC3D release!

AE a good guy, you just have to get used to him, we kind of like him, he's harmless but some people take offence or feel "disrespected" as he is too the point. He does not however go after people personally or bear grudges. I've talked to him about it about it in public and private, so have some...

    Tau Labs CC3D release!

This also makes the CC-BY-SA even more important, as the clone shops are getting all the files to hardware that is well tested, well research and all thus was very expensive to do, we just gave it away and they will no doubt make a profit off it. This was done so people can get the CC3D and not...

    Tau Labs CC3D release!

I'm a bit disappointed how this thread has gone, sad that motives are being questioned and people try to make things personal. OpenPilot is a positive place, the project is done with the best intentions and we made many more boards than we have ever made before, this is a huge financial risk to...

Wired Magazine cover and article about drones

I think they have 2, on in CA and one new one in Mexico? Jess, I would not worry about it. I am not going to get drawn it to it more, I said that I do not like that article and that is what I disagree with. OP did not kickstart anything either, we stand on the shoulders of the amazing projects...

Wired Magazine cover and article about drones

Might be a good idea and prove a point to be honest, we get a load of this "manufacturing" crap as we want to make sure things are right. DIYDrones have different policies and release things as soon as they can, this could work well to fund OP for sure. Not only that but they claim to want...

Wired Magazine cover and article about drones

Hi Denny, nice to see you again, see you have not changed my friend. Nice try with the personal attack, sorry I make you feel like that, I am happy your project is going as well as OP and I agree, the OP community really is an unfriendly place as I post there so much. Oh wait :) I will make...

Wired Magazine cover and article about drones

Nice long post, sorry, it's just a wall of text and like everyone else, I'm simply not going to read it. Sorry you wasted your time but as you can not see reason or are even aware these threads are of no interest to people. Many have seen this before and it is just a religion to you, as you...

Wired Magazine cover and article about drones

Just to cover this because I am busy, the next post by R_Lefebvre will be more deflection. Watch for it and maybe play the deflection drinking game, how many issues un-addressed or twisted can you spot? Well done on marketing your project though, 2nd post here and you start arguing with...

Wired Magazine cover and article about drones

I noticed that too, he seems to not answer anything, all deflection, obvious really. At least he admitted that marketing article was not true, unintentionally, but still. That seems par for the course, number 12, they banned me for that and deleted my post. What I said: I disagree that open...

Wired Magazine cover and article about drones

So you are part of the project and I know more than you and I don't even follow it. How can you kickstart something when you "adopt" it from elsewhere? To kickstart something surely that does not mean to take a complete code base of another project? Here they are in 2010 trying to decide which...

Tau Labs FPV set up with CC

I'm guessing they will work, I know we have had some Quads flying with 2000kv motors as well, CC is fairly good at being flexible with motors and ESCs.

    Tau Labs Can't SAVE calibration

Jeff, I will help you where ever I can. Its important things go well for you but I need a bit more information, it sounds like CC is not seeing PWM pulses from the RX. Do you have any photos of your setup with everything powered on? This is something we have not come across before.

Tau Labs CC 1st flight, Having troubles fighting the wind.

The defaults are very floaty, we can help you get it tuned for sure. Apart from the angle limits start by increasing the inner loop Kp, this will make the board feel much more locked in, once you have that nice and tight but with no oscillation, start on the outer loop Kp.

We have also improved that in the next version as well, its much cleaner now and easier to use.

    Tau Labs RX wiring harnes

The GCS is all built from the same code base, bugs like that will show in all the versions. Happy you got it working, looking forward to a nice video.
