Yes, soldered the ledstrips staight on the powerboard. Well did a test with a ledstrip on a 4s lipo, let it burn for a half hour. No problems. After installing I isolated all contacts with plasti dip.

Hi, I have led strips from HobbyKing, motor 1, 2 white, motor 3 red, motor 4, 5 orange and motor 6 green. I just soldered them to the power board on 4s, work well and doesn't get hot. Works really well for orientation, even in daylight. At night.... WOW!!

Sorry to see you crashing your F550. But I should warn you because you made a beginners error. NEVER EVER fly behind or above yourself, you get disorientated what can/will result in a crash. Keep your craft in front of you all the time.

I have mounted the Quadframe.com gimbal and the Emax servos. Updated the Naza, put the gimbal rate on 400. Succes!! the test video looks very good, hope to do some flying soon.

For those who can't tighten there 10" Grauners props!! Graupner also have these washers 8x14x0,3mm art. nr. 4450.56, they have a perfect fit. Also with use of 6mm self-looking nuts props are rock steady.

I also tryed the washers fron the hardware store, they are wider that 8mm, 8.4mm was what I could find.

I also have the Graupners now, couldn't tighten the propnut. So with a Dremel and the spherical grinder I made a bevel in the propnut. With a tiny bit of loctide it's rock steady.

I have some led strips from hobbyking and made this. The leds are soldered straight on the power-board. No channels or switches needed.

Hi Tyor. There are many report about braking DJI props. Looks like you over-tided the the prop-bolt and that results in little cracks in the hub. Rotating with a few thousand RPM the hub brake. You shouldn't use the DJI's anymore. Without payload you can use APC With payload like cam's etc...

Skip the stock props and go for Graupners. There are some horror stories in this forum about bracking stock props.

Has the manufacturer of your gimbal a recommended setup. Type of servos and arms? I have a AeroXcraft LG and gimbal, but put a different type of servo (savox) and arm on it. That didn't work well and have ordered the recommended setup now.

Sorry to hear this. I tryed to balance the stock props, the hub is of centre and I coudn't balance it well. Was in doubt to buy some Graupners.... After reading your horror story, they are ordered.
