You could certainly do that if your radio allows it. What I do for yaw is have a "throttle hold" momentary switch programmed. When I need to yaw while shooting, I pull the throttle hold switch in then yaw. It works great.

The new GPS model has a built in external mag so you wont need to use the spark fun one. If you want to shoot silky smooth video and lift anything other than a GoPro there is still no better platform.

We have GPS for failsafe situations and every time I've tested it, it works fine.

It's still my preferred configuration. Still flying smooth as silk. Waiting for a descent brushless gimbal for DSLRs to put on it.

Man, you guys are harsh. Startups are tough, I know. Give them some slack. I just flew a bunch of current competitors rigs and still nothing flys as smooth as HF in manual.

Either LOS with one down-link going to the camera op or two down-links if FPV is required. We basically don't go out on shoots without two ops, regardless of the situation. It's always nice to have a second person around to help out with setup, crowd control etc.
