OK I have been looking locally and the only place local does the 2216-800KV motors, not the 900KV. Do you reckon the 800 would be OK with 10" props? I already have the X650 built (I have made threads about the poor quality of the screws!!) and it flies on the stock DJI motors. I fly at 2KG...

I would buy one if the price is right. For a good gimbal you are looking at $500 for a GoPro anyway. If this is $500 and performs similar to the full sized version I could be tempted!

Does this transmit HD or normal SD? I have to admit I laughed when I saw the $6000 setup and the video transmitter being attached by a piece of velcro and a cable tie! Would have thought the fittings would be a bit more professional to be honest as that's all I use on my cheapy quad :)

Thanks, so for a pure FPV copter and not smooth aerial photos with a gimbal, it sounds like the arducopter would be OK as you would rarely be using GPS hold. Plus the ArduCopter has waypoints which could be fun!

I was looking at using the Naza with a QAV500 but keep seeing stories of it not working due to the frame wobbling at higher speeds. Just wondering what flight controller is similar to Naza? With the QAV500 people seem to use CC3D but this is never in stock. How do the Arducopter autopilots...

Does this mean that the Naza is useless with the QAV500? I was looking at putting together a build, but kinda cautious about it now. Was looking at the QAV500, Naza and FM4008 motors with 10" Graup.

Thanks, so it is basically new arm ends. Just wondering how TomStoy has mounted the motors as the motor mounts are the same on the hex, but you cannot replace the arms. How have you mounted the TM motors to the hex mounting plates?

GetFPV seem to sell the TM motors rebranded? Do you know if there is an adapter to make them fit the XA frames? I believe the holes on them are custom 25mmx25mm just for the QAV500 arms, but the motors are half the price! http://www.getfpv.com/motors.html

Does anyone else using the Naza gimbal controls notice the gimbal moving as if the quad is being buffeted in wind? Mine seems to do that now and again but other time is smooth (mainly when flying forward or moving). If I hover or move slowly it has a habit of not being steady?
