drifter, can you confirm again you gut a analog signal overt the AV-Out of the gh4? or you got it converted to analog over the hdmi port? my (kopterworx) hdmi converter woks on the gh4...the quality of signal is not as nice as on the pocket camera though...maybe too sharp for analog signals

I dont think the camera would be abel to have output and recording in different frame rates but I thought the sd output only works when the camera is in playback mode did you get to send a picture when recording 4k?

I think you also have to take into account that a smaller chip size needs lees light then a bigger size thats why the speed booster actually makes a lens brighter...you collect all the light from the lens and concentrate it on a smaller surface

thanks for info ideally it would be for the air so less then 200g and a short design would be good the kowa 8mm c-mount (which I use on the pocket) actually fits the 4k crop...but in 4k I really want it to be sharp in the corners it didnt bother me on the pocket ...but on the gh4 it looks not...

a few days with the gh4 and a first flight...crazy good camera..but not perfect 4k so much better on this camera...its almost like they made a mistake...4k too good or 1080 too bad if you crop 4k to 1080 and compare it to 1080 with 200mbit ..its like the original 1080 is out of fokus and nasty...

oh sweet, what is the best lanc controller for our purpose? I have the Startosnapper2 ,but the support for it is pretty dissapoiting it works good for start stop on the Pocket, and just saw on their website it also does a pretty nice focus pulls, but there is not much help to set this up...

its hard to say from a video that was specially selected to show good results ...you never know what they really did to make that footage...and if its a hardware problem or the pid tuning but before they dont show footage like this you know its not there yet but...video quality is one...
