    DJI NazaM firmware v3.10 poll

With mine, the usual process is: Startup sequence ends in 3 green flashes, followed by flashing amber light (calibrating) I've never actually timed it, but varies between 10 seconds and a more usual 45 secs or so. Two things, have you done all the calibrations? including the 'Naza dance'? Also...

    new wookong setup problem

Octo eh? Looks like you're going to have plenty of fun calibrating esc's then? Not sure if you're doing this already, but I always unplug the xt connector from the main dist board and hook up any old lipo to power just the M & Rx, 'Safe mode'! Especially with 8 blades, if that thing fires up...

    DJI NazaM firmware v3.10 poll

I don't know either, but to be honest, by the time my ezosd has found enough satelites, the Naza is usually flashing green already. THey say it's all to do with temperature/atmospherics. Have you actaully compared two or more identical units together at the same time, side by side as it were...

    Dji Naza Glitching

I'm not saying that this will fix your particular issue, for the reason I gave before, but if you haven't balanced your motors/props, it's worth doing so, and this video is just one way of doing it. You can also use the vibartion meter on a smart phone to do the same thing really. MC's hate...

    Dji Naza Glitching

Is this the Naza v1 with 3,12 firmware? I've seen a few reports out there on the forums suggesting of issues with hexa's. Is this a brand new setup? Also i applied a strip of black tape to each side of the Naza to block out sun light which apparently confuses the barometer. Vibes are a...

    DJI NazaM firmware v3.10 poll

Olemil I see you use Futaba gear, as do DJI on their videos. I use Spektrum, and I did notice that after re-calibration following fware update, the elevator stick turned grey afterwards. However, it does arm, so it hasn't actually stopped me doing anything. I'm told the latest has fixed the...

    OMG - It Worked......

I think that's fair comment. I use the forums for information & friendly advice, but in the end you have to make your own decisions about stuff based on advice received, common sense & gut instinct. ESpecially as DJI themselves demonstrate the failsafe by turning off the transmitter mid...

    DJI iOSD Released Software

DJI would be the best people to clarify this, but I know the MK II model has 'MKII' written on the case. I know however in manufacturing, it's not always that cut & dried, as they may have released some MKII's in original cases? I suppose ultimately it doesn't really matter, as long as it...

Really impressed by WooKong and Z15

THat's a big animal you've got there olof. I plan to get all that stuff as soon as the divorce settlement comes thru'.:highly_amused: Andy P.S Lovely 'steady footage' just shows what's possible from 'stock' stuff that wasn't around 10 years ago?

    DJI iOSD Released Software

I have the 'mark I' (original) iOSD, and new firmware brings it to the iOSD Mk II level. I've seen a teardown of both the I & II models, If I remember correctly, only difference is a slightly larger internal SD card I think, oh, and a bit of extra shielding here & there..Looks a bit more 'pro'...

    OMG - It Worked......

Hi hoveringal, yes, it's a big smiley moment when it all works. I have no 'luck' reading the dji manuals (or should I say interpretting), it's all just lost in translations. I must say, I learned a lot from this vid:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axp2sdH2fbA, Especially the correct method of...

Aeronavics / Droidworx XM X4 Build log

THanks for that link Charles. It's odd how my Sony SUper HAD board camera doesn't work with my iOSD, I'm really reluctant to part with more cash for another camera if it does not work. Still, if it works with yours. Flying again earlier today, I have 3 X 4 cell 5000 mAh lipo's (2 Turnegy 1...

Aeronavics / Droidworx XM X4 Build log

Hi Charles. SOunds like you're making good progress there. I think it's all possible if you are careful with things, and think them out well first. Having said that, it all changes at the field, when all good common sense and logic turns to mush. I have spent a good deal of time on the sim...

Aeronavics / Droidworx CX 4 and Photohigher 2 axis gimbal balance problems

Excuse quality, but: Here you have the 'dremmeled tie bar' & shortened legs. I got a tight fit on the slots, after couple of attempts. Hope it's of use! ATB Andy

Aeronavics / Droidworx XM X4 Build log

Hi Bluerex, IYDMMA, what camera are you usung in conjunction with you iOSD? BTW, did you calibrate your gps compass?, and what's your GPS lock like in the Southern/H? Andy

Aeronavics / Droidworx CX 4 and Photohigher 2 axis gimbal balance problems

I also mount my battery behind the legs. I didn't like the idea of moving it at first, but actually it kind of looks better in a way, and of course perfect COG is king in the aero world! All I did was to add a velcro tab to the polycarb underbelly (to stop battery from sliding), then i...

My iOSD does not work as it should with my Sony CX730 but it works with my Canon G11

No, that's not really my style. Tempting as it is, I guess I'll just vote with my feet as usual. Actually, i've kind of given up down that pathway, I did speak to him again, and he offered to look at the device for me, but I'm not sure if that will solve anything. I now understand that DJI...

My iOSD does not work as it should with my Sony CX730 but it works with my Canon G11

Actually since posting before Christmas, I've ripped the unit out, I want to get the crate in the air, can't be fussed with all this ******g around. I've shelved it until dji can give me a satisfactory explanation as to what is being done. As for now it's 139 quid's worth of junk.

My iOSD does not work as it should with my Sony CX730 but it works with my Canon G11

THat's good news. DJI are 'working on issue', so at least they acknowledge there is an issue. I wish I had the luxury of trying out another unit, just to see if mine is faulty. my 'dealer' (joke) has cut me adrift, wouldn't give me an RMA, just said I need to talk to dji for RMA! Wont be...
