hi BorisS, thx for your reply, so indd my assumption was right, something isn't correct in this drawing. Could you measure the landinggear (center rail to bottom pls) and the height of the AV200 from lowest cradle position and center holes ?
Thank you !
hi guys sorry to interrupt this thread, but i have a question regarding the size of the AV200. I found a drawing on the net:
here it's height from center rail to bottom (blue dashed line) would be approx 255mm.
It seems you need an extended landing gear from DW to mount this AV200. But the...
thx guys, i'm trying to do my best.
@Kilby: i use BricsCAD v11 platinum (a belgian ACAD clone). I has everything you need and i prefer it above higher ACAD versions because it is so very lightweight, fast and incredibly stable. I must admit tho i do the renders in ACAD2011. I have been working...
Almost finished with my latest design:

unfortunally rather short because memory card was full...
you will also notice that the gimbal was not aligned completely horizontal.
well, with my design 1 rotor was in another plane than all others. For some reason it seemed it wasn't able to stabilize itself when performing YAW. It rotated unstable in a spiral and it took several seconds before it was hovering stable again.
I don't know if the octo distribution board would fit, but if it does that would be fairly easy. I don't think it does tho, besides for an octo i suppose we are talking heavy lift, more modifications would be necessary.
Finally first batch parts arrived, gopro parts is for next week.
Mounting gimbal:
Mounting frame:
Motorplates with "nut holders", these are glued with a drop of epoxy in the small holes of the plates.
I was out of 8mm carbon so i used alu tubes for horizontal...
new X6-650 design
After the Airrobot patent on the Y6, the less succesfull flights (wierd YAW problem) with the very experimental S6 we go traditional. X6 frame with camera, lipo, board in CG. Camera and Lipo are movable however when you want to use other size cam or lipo.
Experiencing a...
hi, so that would be 2.5kg + 360 gr for NEX5 ? What i don't understand tho is why you are using 2S ?
I fly with AHM30/6 (graupner 11x5) and a single 5500/3S 13 mins (alarm on 10.6 = 3.5). 24A on hover.
hi droider, looks nice setup, you trigger NEX5 with gentled i see, no delays ? Do you have more specs of your setup ? These are the AXI's i assume.
What total weight, lipo's and flight time do you have ?
