They have added a throttle control in the firmware which you don't have a option to turn off you get little throttle until 45/50% and then wam she takes off apparently helps new users stop from crashing on startup. Pants see hexacrafter post in main dji area vote turn off feature

Thanks Chris, It's like when you drive your car, you don't look at the rev counter you feel and hear it.. when it needs more or less gas.. You get used to your craft and know when it's peaking to lift off giving you more control if at point you have a gust come rolling in as you take off...

Went back to 4.22 and all gone and smooth.. Apparently they have introduced another control feature that controls your throttle this is weird to say the least seems either to be on the ground or off hated it.. Glad I'm back on 4.22 wont be upgrading until they allow us to turn that feature off..

I tried this again the other day, for some reason I was getting motor throttle jitters on start-up with the motors.... I stopped the motors and re-started and all smoothed out.. Have also herd from another flyer that they have herd of issues with throttle with this release.. I must admit that...

I think ill up the gains to see how responsive I can get it.

Flew with new motors and props slightly smaller props with 5.24. Throttle response was a little different but me getting used to it plus I need to up the gains a little.. The firmware reacted good no issues so will up the gains and try on manual to see if the throttle is at 60% matching calcs..

Where are you pulling the data from the iOSD? Should be a dat file in the folder when trying to read data, from the iOSD

Hi Steve to get height from ground it's barometer I think the other altitude is sea level.. In the dji iOSD software click on barometer and in I think the y coordinates type x3.1 to get meters I think long time since used it lol
