    The kv of the motor has more to do with prop size and battery voltage so you'd probably be looking at a 1800-2300 kv motor swinging a 5 or 6 inch prop on 3 or 4 cell.     The only time a stick input will trigger a disarm is if the landing checker code is satisfied and the throttle down rudder left. Are you sure it's disarming or are some motors stopping because the min throttle is too low? Try the same thing but hold the craft in the air and see what happens...

    In mission planner, under config/tuning then extended tuning. There are drop down menu options to assign channels 7 and 8 to a variety of functions. CH. 6 can be assigned as a variable channel for tuning. Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk

    The point the other poster is trying to help you understand is that clouds are made from water. That water probably caused a loss of link. you maybe didn't set up the radio failsafe properly so who knows what happened. If you were connected to mission planner or the tower app your telemetry...
