Pricing - Please stop cutting our own throats.

Just to make my point, having just come back from meeting a large multi national who want to role out a drone program their main question is how quickly can they get their employees trained to do this rather than a third party. This is pretty much the standard conversation these days. If your...

Pricing - Please stop cutting our own throats.

That s a nice thought but won't happen, part of certification requires your company to hold the required insurance, not a third party. You might be able to get them to insure the payload separately, although most insurance companies won't insure cameras on a drone and rental house policies are...

Pricing - Please stop cutting our own throats.

It's interesting how a hobby toy can be transformed into an object that brings out the very best in people. Do you also watch parking meters and handicapped parking spaces? Clearly you don't understand how the business will and has developed, we pay over 10,000 in insurance alone over 1000 per...

Pricing - Please stop cutting our own throats.

very true This is an important discussion. I ahve already seen a start of the race to the bottom as far as pricing. 3 People on site for a days shoot is not cheap. Plus large insurance coverage and the usual expenses. If the phantom type (and not just phantoms but some have large machines) guys...

    Nwb sensors

They will calibrate most non radiometric cameras to give radiometric data. Google nwb sensors. The site is low key but they seem really to be on top of this Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

S800, total weight 7kg, should I still use maxamps?

The 10900mah maxamps is a far better battery, I get at least 2 minutes longer flight than the 11000mah, I am actually happy with maxamps now, and i wasn't with the 110000. The 10900mah is only 80g heavier than the 11000mah and worth every penny if you are flying a heavy s800

S800, total weight 7kg, should I still use maxamps?

The Evo Arms are very stiff and have full silicon wires, a massive improvement on the original arms

After switching evo arms a motor runs fast

I have replaced all the arms of the s800 with the new evo arms, which are a lot stiffer, really a remarkable difference, and tried it out for he first time, one arm M6 ran at a much higher RPM than the rest, it's very clear on the OSD log, a great deal faster, I did mange to get it up, and with...

    Drifting after yawing

Does anyone have an idea what causes a drift after a yaw, the s800 comes back after a few seconds when the GPS sees it gone too far, but the drift is noticeable and depends on the direction of the yaw, left if clockwise rotation, right if anticlockwise(i think) thanks fb

    Wookong IMU V2

yes i completely agree, I tried to work out a way of easily mounting the imu on the tray, a short extension cord is what we need, i don't like the idea of 50 cm of cable delaying the imu signal even a nano second on top of the dealy from the isolated plate

S800, total weight 7kg, should I still use maxamps?

Yes cold fusion thats the answer ! :) , although like others have noted the Maxamps are actually 5C constant discharge, 40C is the burst. They didn't state that anywhere on their site when I bought them, and probably still don't, but they confirmed it to a user who had bought a large quantity

S800, total weight 7kg, should I still use maxamps?

I am beginning to think the Max Amps may be a big problem with my machine, I would have never gotten into them if I had known there constant C rating, they wre extremely expensive batteries, not sure what I can do about it now.
