Am i the only one that finds it unusual that a "moderator" is lighting somebody up for posting things in the correct thread and keeping to himself? Typical "do as i say and not as i do". haha Guess next time i wanna upload a video i'll have to ask Dave if it's creative enough or if i've...

Mikrokopter navi & gps boom mounted fix magnetic error 22 in Cinestar 6

For most kopter yes, on some of the kopters depending on how you run your wires it can be an issue when drawing high amperage. But generally it seems to be a total fix. I have a feeling the new .88 firmware may help as well.

    Cinestar 6 vs Cinestar 8

Hey, I've used both platforms a lot and found there to very little advantage to go one way or another. The 8 is more stable in the wind and in general because a flight ready 8 is about 2 pounds heavier then a 6. That weight doesn't seem evident most times because the amp draw of the kopter...

Mikrokopter navi & gps boom mounted fix magnetic error 22 in Cinestar 6

Mikrokopter Un-commanded Yaw Issue ! Someday's Mikrokopters Just Weren't Meant to Fly !

All correct except for one thing, you'll be just fine flying waypoints, you just can't fly POI ;) I've been doing this with my kopters as well even if they aren't really showing the issue.

Mikrokopter Compass always oscillating, can't fly.

There is a very quick an easy work around for this that may be easier then that reconfiguration. If it is a Cinestar you can get the new 45 degree navi mount that removes the navi from the interference and locates it out on a boom. You can also turn the compass off as well. As long as you...

Taking hexcopter on a commercial flight

Just took a Cinestar 6 on an international flight a little while ago, no problems at all. Didn't even question the LiPo's. I had most of the stuff in check baggage though so i would recommend that.
