new naza firmware and assistant software

So if it locks into a drift to the left I just need to hold full right until it corrects?

new naza firmware and assistant software

I can definately recommend the IMU calibration. All drift eliminated now, hover perfectly stable and doesnt drift off. Hopefully wont have any of these "lock outs" and its the perfect quad!

new naza firmware and assistant software

The IMU calibration sounds interesting. I get a bit of drift forward and to the right in atti mode even after ensuring naza is centered and horizontal and the craft is balanced etc. Can this be fixed with the new firmware? ALso i dont have the GPS addon so I have been using the software...

ive searched and watched the tutorials I just do not know what the definition of the "back side" of the prop is, when looking at a prop thats attached to a multirotor is it underneath or on top?

    Prop balancing

When people say to sand down the back side of the prop to remove weight do they mean the bottom side of top side of the prop if looking at one that is mounted on a multirotor? Thanks

    DX6i + X1 remote gain adjustments NAZA

Close this thread I figured it out. The travel adjust end point wasnt moving the x1 slider. I had to go into the flaps menu on the dx6i to set the end points, and the x1 slider moves. Now set up so I have a high and low atti gains setting on a switch, works great. Still learning!!

    DX6i + X1 remote gain adjustments NAZA

I am not sure if what I am trying to do is possible but using a dx6i I am trying to set up remote gain on the naza. This will be on a 2 way switch as the tx does not have a knob. I have 1 spare channel after setting up the gear channel to control the ATTI/MANUAL modes. I plugged in last AUX...

So happy now that I know my nuts won't fall off

the dji motors are 8mm, so the 8mm holed graupners fit on perfectly, but the thread is thinner at the top (6mm) when putting the prop on the prop isnt quite high enough to go above where the shaft changes to 6mm therefore people have suggested putting an 8mm washer under the prop to raise the...

So happy now that I know my nuts won't fall off

flanged would be good but then its not nylock, i couldnt find a flanged nylock which would be perfect I recieved some M8 washers today which are the perfect thickness, just 1mm! Unfortunately turns out these are slightly bigger than 8mm,, i guess so they can fit over 8mm thread? Anyway they...

So happy now that I know my nuts won't fall off

Im still not sure, and I dont think there is a perfect solution. I am going to try an 8mm spacer (1mm thick) underneath my graupner 10inch props. Only problem is using a nylock on top the bolt is relatively small compared to the hub so the nut isnt gripping much of the prop. Adding another...

So happy now that I know my nuts won't fall off

Interesting thread. Im using the grauper 10s with nylock nuts but I havent used any spacers under the nut. Could this weaken the hub on the prop? The contact area on the hub is pretty small. Not sure if I am heading for a failure or not?
