    Problem with Quadcopter

Sounds like classic ESC's plugged into the wrong sockets on the Naza FC. Check Naza sockets M1, M2, M3, M4 are connected to the correct ESC per Naza manual. Andy.

Anyone using the Fatshark 700TVL camera?

I've got the Fatshark 600TVL and the 700TVL. Got to say I prefer the 600TVL. Better colours and OSD figures are sharper. No noticeable difference in overall image sharpness. I use them both in PAL.

    Battery switch suggestion

You can use one, we're just saying it's best not to. The Phantom has been designed to provide a high level of user friendliness so that it appeals to everyone including those who would be put off by the like of fiddly battery connectors. The entire battery is a cassette which slides into a...

Finding Center of Gravity on Z-axis

Hi Burton, Its not that critical. As long as its somewhere near it'll be fine. Simply measure the distance from the compass module to say the core of your quad and that will be fine. Be sure to enter it as a -ve value if the compass is on top of the quad. Andy.

    Does Naza need BEC?

Sounds like the red wire is needed on those "non BEC" ESC's. Do they have "OPTO" written on them per chance. Andy.

    Does Naza need BEC?

If you are sure only one ESC has BEC then you only need to disconnect the red wire on that one. It won't hurt to disconnect all the red wires if you are unsure. Just disconnect it and insulate it. Andy.

How far from the center of gravity can a NAZA M v2 be safely positioned?

Hi Rainman. If the Naza was in the correct position as shown in the TBS manual and the Naza gain settings are set to the recommendations in the TBS manual and the CG was correct, it should fly like a dream. Mine is all per manual and it is rock solid and has never even looked close to even a...

You need to go into the tx menu system and check end points, sub trims, expotential etc etc. They should all be default setting. If they are not, return them to default and do the stick calibration again. Andy.

DJI NAZA V2 with Turnigy 9x Transmitter - PROBLEMS & PROBLEMS

Hey Dan, I've just noticed, that Lipo looks low. If it's showing 11.3v in assistant with no load its nearly flat. Should be well over 12v when fully charged. Also, check you battery protection in assistant. Turn it off while we sort this out to eliminate any intervention it may be having. Andy.

DJI NAZA V2 with Turnigy 9x Transmitter - PROBLEMS & PROBLEMS

Hi Dan, I'm clutching at straws now. Are you aware that if you are using the PMU, you only need the signal wire connected from your ESC's to the Naza. Point being, the ESC's BEC is not required and indeed can cause problems. It is only necessary to disconnect one of the BEC wires (i.e the red...

    Naza v2 & Orange R410X PPM connection?

Ah, right....sorry, not using my eyes here. As you can tell, I'm on a conventional setup but was hoping to help with my bit of knowledge on s-bus. What I do know is though that the Naza flight mode can be controlled via s-bus type systems. But, I think you need a 7ch receiver. It would seem...

    Naza v2 & Orange R410X PPM connection?

Ok. So don't you need assign say ch6 to the 3 position switch on your DX8 (using your DX8 configuration menus) and then simply plug ch6 into the "U" port on the Naza. Don't use the "Gear switch". Sorry if I'm missing something that I am unaware of specific to the DX8. Andy.
