Yeah- happened to me the other day, I was in GPS mode - hovering 8 (2.5m) feet off of the ground and the unit just dropped even when throttle was applied. No possibility of VRS since I was stationary. Fortunately, I had a B rig with me. Had to send the unit back to DJI since the frame cracked...

Update #1- both CP's updated smoothly. Both auto-tuned well. The gimbal analysis graph is awesome. Weather is awful so can't fly today but looking forward to taking both units in the air.

The Adir board is awesome. Clean power, enough 5V and 12V outputs and having that switch is great. I can have all my electronics powered on the gimbal (rx, hdmi convertor and immersionrc tx) so that the only wire that goes up through the yaw motor is a power cable.
