    I like this lens, gives me the Optical stabilization AND wide angle ( the standard 16mm does not have the OS feature). I also do not use a hood. Pricey though. Sony E PZ 16-50mm

    On my HLE8 i had the same problem. The bolt is exposed in the middle, just grab it with vise grips. that part of the threads are not used so flattening them a little does not matter in the exposed middle..
