For Sale FySky Taranis X9D Plus Speaker Mod Kits

I'm selling speaker mod kits for your FySky Taranis X9D Plus and non Plus radios. What this mod does is replace the small, cheap, and "tin can" sounding speaker with a more powerful speaker that is easier to hear when there is high ambient noise (such as multirotors in your direct area). You can...

Need to know a few things about the Sky Hero Spyder

Hi, I have a few questions for anyone who either owns a Sky Hero Spyder, or has access to solid information (and yes, I've searched on google for these questions with patchy results): 1. Does the new edition of the Sky hero Spyder come with a weight reduced top plate? (I want to mount my FC on...

Any good alternatives for KDE motors in a professional environment?

Thanks for the input. I'm definitely aware that Tmotor and KDE are the two top companies for professional motors, but I was wondering if there were any other companies lurking in the shadows of the internet. Thanks for that conformation though!

Any good alternatives for KDE motors in a professional environment?

Hey everyone. I'm looking to build a sky hero spyder X8 (with 800mm extensions). And I noticed that KDE has very high quality motors and folding prop setups. But I don't want to sink in $200 per motor and $100+ per set of props. So are there any alternative brands for motors that could spin 16"...

Not what we need in the news

Okay, well I have a few projects that are in line before I get to making a system like that (like a triple screen mission planner based groundstation). I expect to get the ground station done and possibly brought to market by March, so I'l be working on the parachute system shortly after then.

Not what we need in the news

I agree. Parachute systems are EXTREMELY heavy and create a ton of drag. I use them only because of insurance and liability purposes. The one I'm planning on making will solve the drag issue, and also the weight concern too. I also would like to agree that I was wrong for even considering making...

Not what we need in the news

This is exactly why emergency parachute recovery systems should be mandatory, or at least a strongly encouraged practice. I just wish that companies would make systems for multirotors other than dji s800, s900, and s1000s. That article is an example to how dangerous even the smaller multirotors...

Questions about frequency overlap with 2.4ghz and 433mhz

Ah, I see. I'm planning on using a Fatshark pilot HD V2 for the pilot camera, which should bring me some good quality video. Thanks for all the help, and look out for my other questions that I might have on my upcoming build. Thanks

Questions about frequency overlap with 2.4ghz and 433mhz

Well my goal for my build is to have a minimum of a 5 mile range, so I guess I'd be going with a 1W vTx. I watched the video (which was pretty entertaining), and I see what you mean. The only thing I don't particularly like is the fuzziness of the footage. I know that you wern't using anything...

Questions about frequency overlap with 2.4ghz and 433mhz

Alright, I'll get a lawmate vtx then. I've only used 5.8ghz and 900mhz, so what mw rating do you recommend to match the distance of the UHF range? I'm planning on using 10-13dbi directional antenna for the receivers, and cloverleaf for the Txs.

Questions about frequency overlap with 2.4ghz and 433mhz

Thank you SJbrit and Kloner for helping me out. I will make sure to get a lowpass filter for the LRS system. I'm also planning on getting a HAM radio license before I go out and fly (even though I doubt that I'd get caught). I'd prefer to stay "legal" and buy the immersionrc VTx with the...

Questions about frequency overlap with 2.4ghz and 433mhz

Hi. I'm planning out a build for a sky hero spy, and I'm planning on using two immersionrc 700mw 2.4ghz vtxs (us version) for the pilot and camera operator down link. I'm also going to be using two ezuhf jr module Txs and two 8ch diversity Rxs. SO my question is; Will the two VTXs have enough...
