    DJI Inspire-quad vs DJI S900-hex

The inspire seems to be a "one stop shop" where the S900s are pieced together, not that I'm afraid of the work. If the quality of the Inspires footage were better, having 2 rigs would essentially keep you in business. Still, redundancy for both safety in people and dollars still sways me...

    DJI Inspire-quad vs DJI S900-hex

My worst fear is setting my camera specs too low. Arch Viz doesn't need industrial videography standards for the most part but I'd heard rumors that the Inspire has some jello problems but that just might have been during takeoff transition. The Sony sensor, 4k, dng, etc all look good. The...

    DJI Inspire-quad vs DJI S900-hex

What I want to do with it: I'm in the arch viz industry. As an architect / animator, I've flown my own and other professional's architectural projects for more than 20 years. I'm going to do that now for real. Camera: The Inspire's 4k Sony sensor camera seems to be a good choice for my...

    DJI Inspire-quad vs DJI S900-hex

It's a tough choice between DJI Inspire-quad vs DJI S900-hex. I fear that an investment in a quad rotor is going end badly due yo it lack of redundancy. I'm putting my question here because I would love to get the Inspire. Any help with advice is hugely appreciated. Gary

    DJI Tech Support or not?

After purchasing DJi product and in the event that support from DJI is necessary, what can I expect? Are service centers in the US plentiful and easy to use? Are warranty repairs handled in a reasonably time frame? Stories in forum and in person leaves me apprehensive about a DJI purchase...

Quad vs 6 or 8 rotor? Is redundancy a factor?

Is redundancy a factor when using a multirotor for aerial videography? Quads plummet when one motor or other fails. Thanks for any advice.-Gary

GoPro will soon be manufacturing drones.

If DJI has bad service, that's a true deal killer as far as I'm concerned. I'm on the Inspire 1 track at the moment. What's put me off is the lack of redundancy in a Quad and tales of DJI service nightmares. I've had extreme opposite experience with Horizon Hobby recently!

DJI Inspire or S900? How about Redundancy?

I've got only one question that occurs to me since the release of the new DJI Inspire 1. What about redundancy in case of ESC or motor failure? As advanced as the Inspire is, the S900 seems to at least offer a safe return home where, if you've seen a quadcoptor lose it, you know how they come...

    Channels. How many is enough?

I've ordered a Spektrum DX 6 for the 'train-up' phase of multirotor flying. I've been told that 6 channels is all I'll ever need for multirotor, but when I asked if there were any, future, unforeseens, such as camera work, I was met with a blank look... Should I opt for an 8 channel Spektrum...

Radio for DJI-Can Spectrum radio fly DJI product?

Can a Spectrum radio, not Futaba, fly a DJI product? I know it's a novice question but I really like the programming capability of the Spectrum 6. I'm currently flying Blade products. Thanks for any advice-Gary
