Yep, I put 2 jumpers in signals 1-4. Got a solid green now when I power both Rx and Tx, and a solid red when I turn Tx off, so i assume they're bound. Both sticks to bottom left, but motors aren't turning on at all. I've plugged in all 3 signal wires..

Btw, i tried to test my motors by moving both stick to bottom left, didnt work...

Yep got it resolved! Sent it back to Aloft and got a replacement, it binds perfectly to D16, Ch 1-16 now! Quick question. Which mode should I be in for the binding? If you look at X8R manual, there's 5 modes... I have Sbus... No plans for gimbal right now but do have plans for telemetry.

It's able to bind in D8 though... Maybe i should do what the Frsky tech said and remove the shell and try to bind in D16 mode, and if it works in D16, that means the F/S button is defective? I dont know if I would void warranty policy from Aloft if i remove the shell though... I'll contact...

That was the video i watched before binding for my first time. No jumper on any signal pins, D16, channel output 1-8, external RF off. All i got was a flashing red LED.

Thanks MOtopreserve. Looking at mode 4, the channel output is 9-16. I'm assuming this X8R user manual is for traditional connection, not SBus? So 9-16 is physical output, then by jumping ch 1, 2, 3, 4, it lets me assign those to SBus? I think this might be the solution!!!!!!!!!!! Will try...

By the way, the only thing plugged into my X8R is the servo going to S.Bus. Should i be connecting anything else?
