Have you seen the RCTimer RCT 800 airframe? It has 14 inch arms that can also be used on a 450/550 airframe. Arms are $15 a pair at UAV Objects. The RCT 800 is only $61 at UAV Objects. :)

What are the largest size props that can be used with the stock size arms on a DJI F450 quad? It looks like 11" shouldn't be a problem, maybe even 12" (barely).

I decided to go for the T-Motor MT2216-11 900kv V2 and the AIMDROIX Aluminum Arms for DJI Multirotors (QUAD PACKAGE). Thanks for the input guys. Maybe in the future I can add 4 more motors to upgrade to an X8 configuration.
