Thanks, leaning towards getting a couple new ones, and figuring out how to refirb now. It's a hex so I was trying not to replace all 6 :).

Looks like I need to replace a motor or 2 and I have what seems to be discontinued, the MK2832-35. Are there other motors suitable for the BL-CTRL 1.2 (besides MK or Robbes)? All the ones I can find seem to exceed the 10A max draw of the MK or Robbe's. I'd be running of 4S.

My only experience is with the the Hexa. I didn't feel the ground effect was significant but then again I've been flying squirrely 450s prior to the MK.

About your comment on ground effect on the X650. Is this a fair statement about quads in general vs Hex or Octo configurations. Or is it more of a low weight weight issue on this guy?

I can't seem to find the thread but I've seen the MK being modified for 4 satellite receivers. This should solve that problem of signal loss unless there's something inherently wrong with the MK.

The lead busted on my buzzer and was going to buy a new one at a local electronics store but... there is no labeling on the MK buzzer. Any idea what the specs are on this thing? Is there a better one i should look into? Thanks.

Thanks, I did experience a drop in altitude with Come Home, however it wasn't that far away. Does the MK remain "pointing" in the direction in which it was pointing when Come Home/Waypoint navigation is turned on, except if you change yaw? Always thinking of ways to avoid BAD things happening :)
