There are already plenty of threads to get you started and finished. The trick is finding them. This site and rcgroups are essentials. Keep flying the f550 as much as possible and block off a few dozen hours for forum reading. Best, Tom

this may have to do with setting your xy level. Make sure both the cam tray AND the rsgs are perfectly level when setting this xy level. TB

I'm thinking of putting this free fly servo on my av130 for panning: http://www.quadrocopter.com/F360-0866-Servo_p_488.html Panning on the av130 is very clunky. Looking to smooth it out. Anybody tried something like this? Thanks, Tom

Bump. Will the free fly servo fit on the av130? Anything else that fits? Panning the gimbal is very clunky. I'd like to have my camera operator do pans, but its so clunky that I have to yaw the hex for pans. This is less than ideal. TB

I understand what you mean - esp about the roll. But I have the nex 5n and a Sony boss and it is no contest. If I were to continue using my nex for video I would probably have to spend an extra 30 hours and maybe $500 to get my shaking down to zero. The boss takes care of 90% of my problems...

Looks good to me. My RSGS takes about 3-4 seconds after an acceleration to level the horizon out. Very frustrating. Hopefully this FW fixes it! Can't wait. TB

Cs6 is amazing. I think it has the best stabilization.

Wait a second. I remember that when I installed my rsgs I performed a rewiring operation that was detailed on their web page. That appears to be different than this h loom I am now reading about. So I need two separate batteries - one for rsgs and one for servos? Thanks, Tom
