    New Build and Test Flight

Strange one ! basic gain take up 10 20 % at a time for all of them, you can leave vertical out. SAme for attitude gain, although i would send a vid to the DJI guys asking them what the reason could be. If he holds position in GPS hold why should it not when autolanding. You have to consider one...

    CS8 to X8 conversion - Herkules ESC III V3

Thanks seattle_helo, spend the whole day to fix up the herkules ESCs to finally get them on the heatsink and get the Lipo cables soldered on, rethinking it a thousand times. Tomorrow the ESCs cables have to be finished and connected to the MC and than its good for a test spin up.

    New Build and Test Flight

okay i would start to alter those take the basic gains up to the point where either you see oscillations on the frame or you have an improved flight behavior and your happy. And with a Quad you can bring up the attitude gain especially if there is no wind around. Really try those settings...

    New Build and Test Flight

What are your gain settings at the moment, basic and attitude ? Before thinking about different props or other changes to your frame. I would start to play around with the basic gain.

    New Build and Test Flight

I cant really answer this since i don't now what the DJI algorithm is all about. If you know were the CG is than it should be enough to mount the IMU accordingly to the point that might not be center physically of your frame but the CG. It should work that way. Some setups have a 1 KG or more...

    New Build and Test Flight

Hi Rwilabee, thanks for the Info the CG should be the reason, strange although that at GPS hold it seems to work without any drift. You can change you signature under setting right top next to my profile and than look to the left in the sub menu it should say edit signature. Thanks! Boris

    WK-M s-bus question

Hi wanho lim, That's the one I am using. To be honest I never took a look at the sbus capable product line. There might be some that are smaller and since sbus is of interest that would be of benefit.

WooKong Luvers Care to help out a new Fellow Wookong Buddy

quotes from a different forum "Governor mode can be really nifty, as it will keep your head speed constant even in a rapid, elevator-style descent (which would normally dramatically speed up your head speed). However, the price you pay for the convenience of a consistent head speed is a loss...

WooKong Luvers Care to help out a new Fellow Wookong Buddy

Okay so you have 0 x,0 y,0 z for your IMU, that okay and for your GPS you should have -17 or -18 on x axis, 0 y axis and -13 -14 on z axis. Watch out that your little red arrow on the GPS modul is really pointing forward straight.

WooKong Luvers Care to help out a new Fellow Wookong Buddy

WooKong Luvers Care to help out a new Fellow Wookong Buddy

Emo cant trust me completly at the moment it might be the fever speaking but your value for the mounting of the GPS should all be negative since in the green area. IMU you should be good to start with 0,0,0 check out the illustration. Your quad is not to heavy you could find the CG on the Z axis...

WooKong Luvers Care to help out a new Fellow Wookong Buddy

Nah leave the red wires intakt at the beginning only if you notice at your first test flights that your ESCs are getting to hot than cut them. Otherwise there is no reasons. It might be that you want to change the configuration of you ESCs and than having the red wires cut is a little annoying...
