I have set all modes to stabilised 1. I also calibrated it level on the table and then left it on a level floor when arming. (Tried level calibration a few times!)

David, Brilliant news! I have a Futaba which has a dial knob on channel 6. I have connected channel 6 on the rx to the X3 port on the WKM. See the WKM instructions, item 5, Gimbal. It works a treat! Gunter.

I have set up my flame wheel quad with a CC board. I have dialled everything in, all settings done and it flies. Problem is that there is always a drift, normally to the right...and it's quite bad. I have enabled it to always zero when armed, then after arming it i leave it for a full 10 seconds...

Well, it's built and flying! Just waiting for some 10" props from Geoff, flying on 12x45's at the moment. Not sure what's going on with the copter control stabilisation, but I have to give it a lot of stick input to stop drifting. With a 4S battery it was drifting backwards, then I tried a 3S...

Yes, just the orange (signal) wires go into F1 and F2. The power wires go into a ubec powered from the SAME battery as the IMU etc. I made that mistake and the servos didn't work.

Dan, I'm deburring with a deburring tool and needle files in the smaller spaces...it must have taken me 2 or 3 hours in all!

Ken, I just built my F450 tonight and it was an absolute breeze. Schoolboy error, I did some of the wires incorrectly and had to take the top plate off again to change them over, that was probably the most time consuming of all!

Got my frame today, so I thought I would start this evening. Using a copter control board thanks to OVDT. Arducopter motors and esc's and I just need to lay my hands on a 3S battery. Not sure if 4S will be okay, the esc's and motors can manage but not sure what it will do with such a light...

Copter Control.

I want to mount the FC on the lower plate of the F450 but the slots are in the wrong place. Is it possible to drill this plate, bearing in mind the power distribution which is incorporated in it? I need to make holes either side of the middle slots. Thanks, Gunter.
