    Photohigher Halo 8 & Halo 2000

Earlier you said "This thing is massive, 1500mm with 17" props" I can only guess when you say "still fits in my car", you are referring to a van, SUV, or pickup truck. Hope when you fly it you can get some dslr camera footage of the "beast" in flight. Gonna make a lot of peeps jealous...

    Pixhawk Feedback?

I think that's a good idea. Let's move on and talk about our experiences with Pixhawk, whatever they may be.

    Pixhawk Feedback?

My crash turns out was operator error, as I mentioned earlier..... I have had similar issues with other FC when I cut throttle real quick and then brought it back when I panic. Turns out changing modes with two switches and then having the motors just flat stop were too much for my brain too...

    Pixhawk Feedback?

dazzab, curious as to how much of the $8000 your were able to recover and re-use.... I had a pixhawk fall out of the air with go pro and it cost me around $400 dollars. Motors cut out because something expectantly happened after a auto flight after attemping to land manually. In changing...

WHO GOT ONE?!? GoPRO 4K Black

    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

GH3 on Eagle Eye 3 axis. 5208 on pitch, 6080mm motors on roll and yaw on 3s battery driving gimbal and video tx. X8 is a DIY about 850mm. Have some yaw follow settings to tweak (think I'm too stiff now), but was told to hold off as they have reworked yaw follow in the new firmware which is...

    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

Hesitate to put this up, pretty boring. It was blowing pretty good today so I went up with the Centerpiece to check out how it would handle bouncing around in the wind... I probably wouldn't do much flying in this wind, but thought a little hovering around would work.

    Phobotic Centerpiece Brushless Gimbal Controller

Just got back from 3 quick test flights. I'm very satisfied with the footage. Learning a few idiosyncrasies on start up procedure (and shut down) with the Centerpiece (CP) Today, I did 3- 8 minute flights changing batteries between each. Let my gimbal battery run down a little farther...

Naza V2 and Flame wheel gone!

Did you wait for 2 sets of rapid green lights, or one? When you said you took off and it was sluggish, were you in manual, att, or gps mode? I've been flying a Naza V2 for a year, and I always wait for the rapid green lights to flash twice. Sometimes it takes an extra 5 seconds, sometimes 30...

    iCharger 406DUO Settings

Found this a while back. Some good information. Maybe a little conservative, but good stuff to follow when possible. http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-extend-the-lifetime-of-you-TATTU-profession/?lang=zh

    iCharger 406DUO Settings

I have a duo and it's so much nicer to use than my old iCharger. Menus and everything about it is quicker. LCD screen helps. I charge at 1 or 2c almost all the time. If I'm in the field and I need something quick, I'll up the rate. From everything I've read and learned on this forum, 1c is...

DJI Product Repair Delays 5 "Weeks and Counting"

With Amazon getting into the game and their guarantees, maybe they will own the market if they back up what they sell.

    4x KDE3520 400kv

I'll take em.... Either I'm going to be the proud owner of a hex or maybe a backup x8..... Was going to quit spending money, 50 a piece is too good to pass up.

    Phobotic CenterPiece Owners Thread.

Now that the gimbal is getting dialed in a bit, it's time to fly more tweak less. Kloner, how about some tips for filming and flying. (keep in mind, I'm a one man flyer, no fpv, just a ntsc lcd connected to my radio). Most of that flying was ATT mode, usually only use GPS mode when going...

Yes, but I'm still working on the follow mode. It's the DYS 5d something or other with larger 60mm motor on yaw and roll. 50mm on pitch. Haven't put my 5D MK II on it yet, but it should be fine for just shooting stills. I'm still learning to fly and hoping I can get away with tweaking the...

    Phobotic CenterPiece Owners Thread.

Some Phobotic Centerpiece flying today about an hour from my home at a friends house. Was very systematic in my calibration today. Always ran startup calibration on a flat surface, then hit switch #1 to turn off motors and moved to uneven location (except for 1 flight were ground was even and...

    Phobotic CenterPiece Owners Thread.

My preliminary flights have gone pretty good. Myy current opinion is this is a step up from my AM based gimbals (all 3 of them). While it's too early to say this is the real deal, I think it's very promising that it will be pending a few issues get ironed out, and then the test of time for...

I had that at first, but then did a motor_calibration from the cli as listed on their forum. Have done this 3 times now, and it always works for me with autotune.

    GoPro4 details released!

I have a 3. I'll have to check the firmware update as I don't have manual exposure, f stop, iso settings. If I read the article correctly, there are 2 models, one with 4k video and one similar to the 3+ (no 3k) but with led. Not going to get lcd and 4k in same body. The quote about new...
