There's been conversations about pro's using it for filming and pro's using it on larger MR's. This seems to indicate it handles very well on a mid size MR.

I am using the standard CP. I have no idea what makes it superior. I just know, that so far, I get better footage on the CP than 16 months worth of 4 gimbals and 3-4 alexmos boards. I seriously doubt you need the CPHV for DSLR and down unless you want the 2nd IMU. Caveat..... the CP is new...

A couple posts back he said something to the effect it's the best and fastest flying MR he's ever had. For a large MR, that's outstanding. I for one wouldn't question any part of this build. Looks like he nailed it. Good Job. For something that heavy, I'd be use thicker G10 plates also...

jdennings; Thanks for your insight. I'm a bit like you from what you described, only I haven't gotten over my fears to put my Pixhawk on a bigger MR. Two changes I'd have to figure out is the 6s battery, do I want to just send 5v to the rails or do I want to go find or build a 3rd party power...
