Wont return home and land - GPS or Fail Safe mode

I attempted to give the slightest over 10% throttle and the throttle alarm activates when the DX8 is turned on so it wouldn't "allow" me to bind... I set the pre-set failsafe to RTH and when the DX8 was turned off in flight the quad motors didn't turn off as you are mentioning. The LED rapidly...

Wont return home and land - GPS or Fail Safe mode

I did the pre-set failsafe with throttle at zero and it still enters RTH failsafe. I'd just check the assistant and make sure you have RTH selected vs. land & watch as you turn the Tx off to ensure it enters failsafe

Naza, Gear switch , Dx8 and failsafe problems/confusion!

Try a pre-set fail safe procedure for switch locks which is what I did. I have my F-mode switch for M-ALT-GPS & my trainer switch behind mixed to failsafe when I'm in GPS on the F-mode switch. I binded with the F-mode switch in position 3 (GPS) and the trainer switch flipped (RTH-failsafe)

F550 WKM went down like a sack of bricks!!!

So I have done 2 tests (far from a decent pool of tests) but will do at least 10. Gains set at above 120-140 the quad is VERY twitchy and wants to tip/roll in flight and literally just a hover when a gust of wind hits. Gains down to about 90% and to tendancies. Many more tests to come today

F550 WKM went down like a sack of bricks!!!

I have a question for those that have had a roll over... What is everyones gain #'s? I'm wondering if the gain values are too high causing extreme over correction. This is my first quad so I'd like to avoid another roll over in flight out of nowhere, hovering & forward flying

    RTH testing (do I dare)

As long as when you flip switches the LED is showing the right functions I say go for it! I did & it was pretty neat Just make sure before you go into idle and leave the ground you have a GPS lock for home.

NAZA ATTI Mode Forward Flight Dives

Snap some screen shots of you assistant pages & maybe somebody will recognize a difference in settings. My gain is adjustable by the knob so my gain is much higher when I'm slow flying & holding position in Altitude & GPS functions

NAZA ATTI Mode Forward Flight Dives

Is there any mixing done in your transmitter? Have you re-calibrated the compass & plugged into the Naza assistant to watch and make sure the indicator within the Tx screen doesn't fall out of "ALT" position when you move the sticks? That's where I would start

    Compass calibration

If somebody has a question and is new or couldn't find an answer through search and their post irritates... why even respond? Let those that don't mind referencing a link to an existing Helpful thread respond :dejection:

Naza GPS Return to home fail safe help

For failsafe: Yes it will climb 20meters before RTH happens. If you are higher than 20meters it will lower to 20meters before RTH happens. Pretty crazy stuff when you see it for the first time If your transmitter being turned off doesn't throw it into failsafe then I'm not sure what will...

NAZA rapid flashing red + LOW-VOL[4] error in assistant with a fully loaded LIPO !

If you have GPS plugged in it's searching for a lock. Make sure you go through the entire write process/calibration of the sticks and compass
